Our work with primary school children

"Without some sense of wellbeing in life, children cannot flourish and reach their potential. Although there are research studies to back up this claim, most educators will know from their own experiences that when we have a sense of wellbeing in our lives, we are far better able to take in new information, take risks in our learning and take responsibility for our learning." Our Wellbeing Steps PSHE programmes are fun, interactive and engaging, giving children the opportunity to learn about wellbeing and how it relates to them. The programmes also help children to build their own “toolbox” of strategies to help them build resilience.

Topics include positive thinking, self-compassion, physical wellbeing, problem-solving, kindness and much more...

To download the Overview Map for each programme, click on the steps below.

You can choose from 2 options:

We deliver the programme for you at your school as PPA cover or PSHE lessons.

OR you can buy the licence to enable your staff to deliver the programme (all resources will be provided in a downloadable folder).

Please note, we can also deliver bespoke sessions and we have training courses aimed at staff to increase their understanding of mental health issues.

  • "The programme was brilliantly introduced and left the children really excited about the wellbeing project. Student well-being is one of our school's highest priorities, and we are looking forward to seeing how Pacesetter's programme impacts on our students."

Richard Saunders, Year 6 Teacher - Croyland Primary School
  • "Developing children’s social and emotional literacy is a priority for us as a school.  The Pacesetter wellbeing programme has given us a shared language across the school for supporting children with their social and emotional wellbeing.  Through discussion in the sessions the children have become much more aware of their own wellbeing and the link between thoughts, feelings and actions."

Karen Rolf, Headteacher - Danesholme Junior School
